Real Weddings

Each wedding is unique and therefore takes time to plan out and deliver the best wedding for each couple. Here you can find examples of real weddings and couples, hear their testimonials and get a glimpse into a Wedding Reception with Rustic Fusion through our 'After-movies'.

Chloe and Richard

Rustic Fusion's first wedding and what a party! The beautiful Stanford Farm in Shropshire was the perfect setting for this rustic styled wedding and everyone was keen to get partying from the beginning!

For this wedding we kept the dancefloor moving with plenty of wedding classics, disco, 80s + 90s hits, dance classics and more!

"Joel just started doing weddings but you'd never guess! Fantastic DJ- lots of calls beforehand learning about our song preferences and the guests we would have. Dance floor was full all night long- just what you want! Perfect set up for rustic weddings too- wooden DJ booth!" - Chloe and Richard

Meg and Cameron

Meg and Cameron hosted an extravagant wedding on their field for over 200 people! The evening was a brilliant blend of entertainment, including a band, photo booth and myself. The guests were rearing to get the party moving from as soon as I arrived until 2:30 in the morning! The party simply didn't stop and even as the night went on, Meg, Cameron and their friends and family just wanted more and more.

For my first marquee wedding I was very happy to say the night was a success!

"Thank you so much for everything - you were great the whole wedding and couldn't have been more perfect!" - Meg and Cameron

Jordine and Ben

Kelham House made for a fantastic July wedding venue for Jordine and Ben. The weather held out for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and the staff were super efficient with their room changeover allowing for a smooth transition into the party. With and Irish groom and a Jamaican Bride, there was an awesome mix of cultures that made the night super fun, mixing in between Irish wedding bangers and Jamaican Dancehall vibes.

"Thank you so much for being brilliant at our wedding!" - Jordine and Ben

Ellie and Kris

Ellie and Kris wanted a fun, upbeat wedding reception with sing-alongs sprinkled in which went down a charm. The first dance to Elvis Presly's "Can't Help Falling in Love" was a great start to a lively evening full of banger after banger. Some fun songs from High School Musical and Earth, Wind and Fire were enjoyed before diving straight back into the lively rest of the night. The couple beautifully decorated the Hatton Village hall themselves and their hard work paid off in a stunning yet romantic evening celebration.

"When I contacted Joel, I knew I had made the right choice. He was incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. We had 2 video calls to discuss the vibe of our wedding, our relationship and what we wanted to achieve with the music. Joel listened well and seemed to really understand us as a couple. On the day, he arrived on time, looking smartly and set up quickly with no fuss. His rustic set up was amazing and really complemented the vibe of our wedding. He did everything we asked of him and more, reading the room like an expert and adapting the music to ensure our guests were enjoying themselves. Considering Joel’s business is relatively new, you can’t tell and would think he had been DJing for years! I would 100% recommend Joel to everyone and will definitely use him again for any parties!" - Ellie and Kris

Helen and Jon

I DJ'd Helen and Jon's wedding at Yeldersley Hall and what a night it was! I played 6:30 until 12:30 and the dancefloor was packed all night! Many of Helen and Jon's friends and family were big rock fans, so we had a lot of fun with some rock, alternative and emo tunes. As the sun went down we transitioned into a more pop style playlist which went down a treat with even a few choreographed dances! It was a real treat to be a part of this reception and I enjoyed taking it to the next level!

Alison and Neil

Alison and Neil hosted their huge 'Festival Style' wedding in Baginton, Coventry, and it was a total vibe the whole day. In fact, when I arrived at the wedding, it was clear I was overdressed! Everyone looked fantastic and there was even one guy dressed as a banana. I shared the stage with a very talented band ('After Party') and it was up to me to finish the wedding off strong. With some proper dance classics, brit pop and current charts, the dance floor was beaming until a late 1:30 finish. A massive thanks to Ali and Neil for putting on such a belter event!

"We had the pleasure of welcoming Joel to our wedding reception and he had the dance floor full from the word go. Great mix of music and read the vibe perfectly. Easy to deal with and listened to all our thoughts on the build-up to the big day. Highly recommend." - Alison and Neil

Lucy and Sam

The beautiful Dodmoor House hosted Lucy and Sam's wedding which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the groomsmen ran a series of Bride vs Groom games which kept everyone on the edge of their seats. In the end it was down to a tiebreaker where Lucy triumphed in a push-up competition. During the night the guests raved to some good old wedding bangers, and even danced a full choreographed dance! What a brilliant occasion and such a lively bunch of guests which made my job extremely fun on the night.

"We really appreciated having Joel as our wedding DJ. Most of all we really appreciated his thorough and constant communication, which helped with reassurance about our day! He listened and showed such interest and care in us and checked in with us, which felt special! He was very adaptable and went with the flow! He kept the dance floor busy!" - Lucy and Sam
